Feb 2009: Millie is now 7 months old and is coming along just as we expected, she is full of fun and mischief as any puppy should be. She is a fast learner, very observant and attentive. Millie entered her first show on the 4th January at Maidstone's Ashford, Faversham & District Canine Society aged just 6 months, this was a tester to see how she would react in a dog show enviroment, she lapped up the atmosphere and mingled well with all the other breeds. There was no minor puppy or puppy entry in the Border Collie class so she was entered in Junior, Judged by Mr Alan McCord she got placed 3rd. I have never entered an Any Variety class before but at this show we entered in to AV Minor Puppy, a large class with 25 entrants and Millie was placed with a VHC.

Her 2nd show was at Southern Border Collie Club on the 25th January, judged by Mr Keith Baldwin. Millie was placed 2nd in Minor Puppy and 1st in Puppy getting her Reserve Puppy Bitch. Here is a picture of us in the Bitch Winners line up (far right)

4th Jan 09, (6 months) Ashford, Faversham & District Canine Society, Breed Judge Mr Alan McCord, placed 3rd in Junior and AV Minor Puppy placed 5th VHC (25 entrants)

 25th Jan 09, Southern Border Collie Club Open, Judge Mr Keith Baldwin. 2nd in Minor Puppy and 1st in Puppy and Reserve Puppy Bitch.

 22 Feb 09, Kent County C A. Judged by Breed Judge Sandra Beaumont and Pastoral Group Judge Caroline Nicholson.  Millie wone her class, was awarded Best Puppy in Breed and Pastoral Puppy Group 2.

Sunday 15th March 09 Woolwich & Bexley District CA Millie was placed 2nd in junior by Judge Mrs S Gittins, Millie was also entered in to AV puppy which I totally forgot about, not that Millie minded

Sunday 19th March 09, Gravesend and Medway CS Breed judge Karen Anderson Millie was placed 2nd in Puppy.

Sunday 12 April 09, Millie entered her first Championship show and has qualified for Crufts 2010 by gaining 3rd place in Junior at Southern Border Collie Ch Show under breed judge Tracey Wilkinson. also 4th in Puppy Bitch
