Lochiel Travellin' South To Borderbeau JW SH CM

Summer & Woody (Locheil Travellin' South To Borderbeau) produced 5 beautiful black & white puppies, four girls & one boy. Summer coped really well and is doing a grand job of being a mum.

 Thanks to Steve, Sandra & Adam of Borderbeau Border Collies for allowing me to use their handsome boy Woody.

Here are a few photos of the litter at one day old, I will be adding more over the coming weeks. All puppies weighed in at approximately 400g.

All puppies are now happily settled in their new homes with their families, I'm sure pups and families are going to have great times ahead of them.

Milly, Skybound Amelia Aerhart is staying here at Skybound  

There isnt a lot of change in appearance within a week but they have almost doubled in size, weighing in at 750g. the pigment on their noses is starting to show through.

Puppies now two weeks old, eyes are now open, a little interaction with each other, weight increases vary from 886g to 1,074g, attempting to lift themselves up on to their little legs, liking the sound of their own voices, giving little yaps

Week Three and puppies are weighing in between 1,300g and 1,600g, are up on their legs and have started eating solid food, they are reacting to noise, their eyes are starting to focus and will come towards us when we enter the whelping area.

Now four weeks old, Weighing between 1,780.g and 2,200g. all are eating well, running, playing and barking. There was a very bad thunderstorm late last night which didnt worry the pups in the slightest. New pictures of the chunky monkeys below.

Puppies now have their KC registered names, Skybound Shooting Star, Skybound, Amelia Aerhart, Skybound Catalina, Skybound Delta & Skybound Amy Johnson as you may have guessed all are themed on aviation.

 Now at 7 weeks old they are to big to fit on my kitchen scales New pictures below, very hard to take as they wont keep still, thanks to Julie Miles for taking pictures and allowing me to use her computer while mine was in the sick bay.

Puppies at 5 weeks old

Puppies are now a handfull, forever cleaning, forever feeding though I don't want it too end! eight weeks is creeping up far too quickly soon they will be ready to go to their new homes

Weights this week

Vary from 2,325g to 3k

They love biting toes, roughing and tumbling with each other and playing with toys, Aunty Grace is smitten with them and helps Summer keep them all under control
