Barney is so amiable, such a pleasure to live with. We got Barney shortly after getting Charly from the same breeder, his litter had just been born when we went to pick Charly up from Southampton. Barney and Charly had a close bond from the beginning, when Charly went missing for 5 days Barney was inconsolable, he pined for her terribly, then when Charly went to the bridge in Oct 2007 it was obvious Barney missed her so much, they had such a close bond it was saddening to see how her passing had affected him. He is very much back to his own self now, enjoys his daily walks along the beach though he never leaves my side. Recently he has had some exercise intolerance due to arthritis in his back legs and toes, short frequent walks and medication plus some weight loss is helping him.
